Ves Sheely

Ves Sheely is the District Superintendent of the New England District of the Evangelical Free Church of America. As District Superintendent, Ves oversees fifty plus churches and numerous church planters in the New England area. Ves also serves as the Program Director for Leadership Training International (LTI). LTI assists in training National church planters in many countries, and in particular in a 10/40 Window. Prior to serving as District Superintendent, Ves was Senior Pastor at Wethersfield Evangelical Free Church in Wethersfield, Connecticut from 1981-1994 and Senior Pastor at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Woodbridge, Connecticut from 1995-1999. Concurrent to several positions, Ves served and continues to serve as an Associate in Leadership Development for Worldwide Leadership Council, Inc. Worldwide Leadership Council maintains ministry partnerships in thirteen nations around the world.

Ves holds degrees from Philadelphia College of the Bible [B.S. Bible, 1969], Dallas Theological Seminary [Th. M. Theology, 1973], and Drew University [D. Min., 1982]. Ves has been married to Jill for over 40 years, and they have four children: Lauren, Nicole, Kristen, and Meredith. Ves has six grandsons and one granddaughter: Giovanni, Jonathan, Matthew, Lucas, William, Andrew and Gabriella.
