Dear Responders,

Thank you for your interest in crisis relief in Haiti. Your interest in sending a team to help Haiti is appreciated. This is a preliminary update to explain what has been happening in TouchGlobal Crisis Response. More information will be sent when the assessment team has formulated the plans for future ministry.

Prayers were answered Sunday night when a flight opened up for three of our assessment team to fly into Cap Haitien the next morning. Watch a video from Mark Lewis.  Brian Duggan, ReachGlobal Latin America International Leader, Jim Esson, a ministry partner and Mark Lewis, Director, TouchGlobal Crisis Response, will be flying into Port-au-Prince very early Tuesday to assess where the base of operations will be set up so that they can figure the logistics for receiving teams. Then they will identify partners and places where the Lord can best use the teams that will be sent to share Christ's love and the gospel.

Earlier this week seats opened up on a flight to allow an exploratory medical team of seven to fly into Haiti. They will be spending five days with the EFCA Crisis Response team later in the week.  It has been amazing to have all of this come together so quickly. The teams will meet up in Haiti on Wednesday.

Pray for:

Our national partners, Henoc and Caleb. Already they are reporting that they are overwhelmed. Everyone has lost a loved one.

The families of the team members.

Wisdom for Mark to see the path the Lord wants EFCA TouchGlobal Crisis Response to take.

Good connections, Safety and Protection.
