Vision and Values

Mission Statement:

NEDA is an association of churches, which exists to glorify God throughout New England and the World by birthing and nurturing healthy churches in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

1. Extraordinary Prayer - to encourage and develop united, fervent, consistent, and extraordinary prayer by all churches, pastors, and leaders for  revival in all New England Churches and spiritual awakening in our land.  (1 Timothy 2:1-8)

2. Purposeful Evangelism- to encourage the churches in our district to motivate and train people to reach into their spheres of influence with the good news of Jesus.  Our goal would be to see the rate of conversion growth rising in our congregations.  (Acts 2:42-47; 4:32-35; 6:7)

3. Great Commission Leadership Development - to encourage and provide for all pastoral staff and leadership teams opportunity to strategically give of their time to world evangelization and discipleship.  By going, pastors/leaders will learn and grow up together in Christ as they embrace the moral imperative and passion for reaching lost persons with the gospel, thus impacting New England and the rest of the world.  (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 24:45-49;Mark 16:15-18; Ephesians 4:15-16)

4. Intentional Church Planting- to follow Jesus our Master who out of a heart of love for a lost and dying world started a church planting movement who’s most basic and essential building block for training and mobilization in discipleship, prayer, and evangelism was the small group.

a. To encourage our churches to be intentional in making and multiplying disciples and leaders through small groups.

b. To encourage our churches in church planting through small groups, core groups, and other intentional methods.  (Matthew 16:18-19; Mark 1:16-20; 3:13-19; Acts 2:42-47; Acts 13:1-5)

5. Strategic Network of Healthy Churches - to encourage, develop and multiply fruitful churches whose ministries are both local and global and have as their goal obedience to the Great Commission.  This will be done in networks of churches whose pastors and leaders support one another through committed spiritual friendships.  Acts 2:42-47; 11:19-26; 13:1-3; John 15:12-15
